About StencilCut

Hi, I’m Amir. I build StencilCut.

StencilCut is not a big company. It is one maker, building the tool I wished existed: upload a photo, get a file that actually cuts, without fighting design software first.

Why this site exists

Laser cutters have become affordable, but the design side has not become easier. Turning a photo of your dog into something a laser can actually cut still means hours in design software, learning about islands, bridges, and node editing, and a lot of ruined material when it goes wrong.

StencilCut collapses all of that into one step. The AI does the conversion, and then the part that matters: the fabrication checks. Floating pieces get bridged, fragile detail gets simplified, and the file comes out sized in real millimetres, ready for LightBurn, Glowforge, xTool, or any machine that reads SVG or DXF.

The first customer to push a project all the way through was Nicola in the United Kingdom. She turned photos of her three dogs into black acrylic cuts on her own laser, with no design software in between. You can see her pieces on the showcase page. That is the whole idea of the site in one story.
