Made for the Glowforge workflow
Glowforge accepts SVG natively, and Glowforge Premium also accepts DXF. StencilCut produces both. The output SVG uses the stroke conventions Glowforge expects (black strokes for cut lines, solid fills for score), so it works the moment you upload.
What sizes work?
The default 150mm width fits inside any Glowforge bed (Basic, Plus, Pro, Aura, Spark). You can scale freely inside Glowforge without losing quality — SVG is vector, not raster.

Yes, both Glowforge App (free tier) and Glowforge Premium accept the SVG. Premium also accepts the DXF.
Can I cut or score with the output?
Yes. The SVG uses black strokes for cut and can be re-colored in Inkscape for score/engrave layers.
Is Glowforge Aura supported?
Yes. Aura uses the same file formats as the larger Glowforge machines.
Why use this instead of Glowforge trace?
Built-in Trace is limited to simple line art. Our AI vectorizer handles photos, complex outlines, and auto-bridging.
Is this official Glowforge software?
