StencilCut converts any image into a laser cut file in seconds, free, in your browser. Drop a PNG, JPG, or WEBP into the tool. The AI vectorizes the image, removes the background, auto-bridges floating shapes, and gives you back a clean SVG and DXF. The output is laser-ready for Glowforge, xTool, LightBurn, OMTech, Epilog, Trotec, and any cutter that imports SVG or DXF.

Ready in seconds

Typical conversion finishes in under 30 seconds, no install, no CAD knowledge required.

Why convert image to laser cut file first?

Laser cutters speak vector. closed paths, not pixels. Sending a raw image to a laser usually produces jagged edges, half-cut letters, or the machine refusing to import. Converting your image to a laser cut file first means the cutter follows clean closed paths, your stencil holds together, and the small pieces you actually want survive the cut.

Auto-bridging by default

Every laser cutter user has had the inside of an "O" or the dot of an "i" fall out mid-cut. StencilCut detects floating islands and adds invisible bridge tabs so the design cuts as one connected piece. You can disable bridges in the Advanced builder if you want.

Compatible with every major laser

Glowforge (Basic, Plus, Pro, Aura, Spark), xTool (M1, P2, D1, F1, S1), OMTech, Epilog, Trotec, Boss Laser, Sculpfun, Atomstack, Ortur, and any GRBL or Ruida machine. If your laser reads SVG or DXF, StencilCut output will run on it.
