Find floating pieces and add bridges in the laser editor

Upload a stencil, run the laser check to find pieces that would fall out, add bridges, check again and export at true size.

0:02Upload your design to the laser editor. This sign has words cut out of a plate.

0:08Open Check and run the laser check. It finds floating pieces, like the middles of O and A, that would fall out.

0:15Press Add bridges only. Small bridges join each floating piece to the plate.

0:20Run the check again, and use Show me to review anything it still flags, like narrow areas.

0:26Then export an SVG or DXF at true size, and make a test cut in your material.
